Sunday Worship Gatherings

Sunday worship gatherings are a great first step into our church family.  The gatherings are relaxed and friendly and the messages are Biblical and practical for all ages.  We gather our teams to pray at 9:30am in the DHS commons area and we begin our worship gathering in the Bollman Auditorium just before 10am.  We go for about 1 hour most Sundays and then have time for coffee and mingling after the gathering is dismissed.

CHildrens Ministry

We LOVE kids and are always seeking to provide excellent ministry to children at Dallas Church!  All of our leaders are followers of Jesus Christ and have had background checks.  We could always use great people in our children's ministry, so, if you are led to help, let us know!  Here are a few of our areas of ministry for children...

Nursery

Each Sunday worship gathering we offer a great space for our youngest to be well cared for and loved!

Preschool

We utilize active learning techniques to help kids get hands on, Biblical principles into their heads & hearts.

dcKids

We offer an awesome kids ministry we call dcKids and each month our k-5 age groups learn a virtue of the month.  We believe that discipleship, that is, learning the way of Jesus, happens best in the context of relationships, and that starts at home.  Our children's ministry aims to help parents, grandparents and those who care for children have tools to teach Biblical truth.

SALT

We also have a student leadership team called SALT that engages older students to help teach the younger students in our dcKids ministry areas.  This team meets monthly.

YOUTH GROUP

Finally, we also have a ministry to middle school and high school students that meets every other week (1st and 3rd Sunday evenings) and is led by some great volunteer leadership.

GroupLife

Being a follower of Jesus Christ is NOT possible without a band of brothers & sisters helping, encourage, strengthening and keeping mutual accountability.  At dc, we hold strongly to the principles of the church family shown to us in the New Testament which center on walking as a community of faith in close, personal & authentic relationships.  Beyond our Sunday gatherings, GroupLife provides smaller, more relational environments for being Christ-followers.  To get into a group, click HERE!

Ministry Teams

Finding meaningful ways to help is part of any healthy family especially in the context of the church family.  If you are part of the dc family, you need to plug in and serve in a area of ministry at least once a month.  When all players are in the game, the work is shared!  Church is a team sport!  To join a ministry team, click HERE.

Volunteering in the community

We love to reach out to our city.  We believe Jesus calls His followers and His church to be both 'salt' and 'light' to the communtiy around us, so, we'll look for meaningful ways to serve the city and community of Dallas on a regular basis.  To find out more about how you can volunteer, click HERE.
